SMSF PROPERTY INVESTMENT
YOUR SUPER IS ALREADY WORKING.
IS IT WORKING HARD ENOUGH?
Most people spend decades building a super balance without ever questioning whether it's doing the most it could. I did the same thing until I discovered what a Self-Managed Super Fund actually makes possible.
MY SMSF STORY
I SPENT 15 YEARS IN THE MINING INDUSTRY BUILDING A SUPER BALANCE I WAS PROUD OF. THEN I REALISED I HAD NO REAL CONTROL OVER WHAT IT WAS DOING.
The contributions were consistent, the balance was solid - but my money was sitting in someone else's hands, invested in someone else's strategy, and growing at someone else's pace. I wanted to take charge of that. When I started looking into SMSFs, I was so excited to understand that this was even an option. That's what drove me to build this part of MPAC. Not to sell Super products, but to help people who are in the same position I was in: a strong balance, a desire to do more with it, and no idea where to start.

WHAT CHANGES WHEN YOU TAKE CONTROL
FOUR THINGS AN SMSF GIVES YOU THAT A STANDARD SUPER FUND DOESN'T.
-

CONTROL
YOU CHOOSE WHERE MONEY GOES
Instead of a managed fund making decisions on your behalf, you direct your super into assets you understand and believe in, including property. -

GROWTH
PROPERTY GROWTH WORKS FOR YOUR RETIREMENT
Capital growth inside an SMSF builds your retirement balance directly. You're not just saving, you're building an asset that compounds over time. -

INCOME
RENTAL INCOME GOES BACK INTO YOUR FUND
Rental yield from an SMSF investment property flows back into your super balance — tax-effectively, and on your terms. -

FLEXIBILITY
YOU CAN COMBINE BALANCES TO INCREASE YOUR BUYING POWER
SMSF members can pool their super balances, meaning couples or business partners can access significantly more purchasing power together.
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT IS AN SMSF?
A Self-Managed Super Fund is simply a super fund you control yourself. Instead of a retail or industry fund managing your money, you direct it into the investments you choose. One of those investments can be residential property, bought directly in the name of your SMSF.
That's where MPAC comes in.
-

YOU SET IT UP
With the help of a licensed SMSF accountant and financial advisor — both of which we can connect you with — your fund is established and your existing super is rolled in.
-

WE FIND THE PROPERTY
We identify investment-grade properties that suit your fund's strategy, assessed for yield, growth, and compliance with SMSF rules.
-

YOUR FUND OWNS IT
The property is purchased in the name of your SMSF. Rental income flows in. Capital growth builds your balance. You remain in control.
Yes - but it works differently to a standard home loan. We'll walk you through what this means in practice during your discovery call.
CAN I BORROW THROUGH MY SMSF?

DO I NEED A CERTAIN BALANCE?
MPAC assesses every potential property against SMSF compliance requirements as part of our process, so you're never in a position where you're committed to something that can't work.
